My name is Ashley Day, and I own and manage Day Arabians, a small Arabian breeding program in the Northeast. Arabian horses are my passion, a labor of love that offers a grounding counterbalance to my fast-moving professional life. Day Arabians is a hands-on program where every pairing is a deliberate decision. I focus on producing Arabians with the whole package: correct conformation, athleticism, and the kind of presence and expression that stops people at the rail.

My philosophy is simple: exceptional mares are the cornerstone of any program built to stand the test of time in the Arabian horse industry. My program is small, and that is intentional. Working with a limited number of mares lets me stay personally invested in each foal from the ground up. I breed just one to two foals a year, prioritizing quality over quantity, and I aim for horses that can hold their own in the ring and become genuine partners for their owners across a variety of disciplines, after they have earned their credentials in the in-hand breeding classes.

A highly anticipated 2027 foal crop is on the horizon, with two foals expected including an eagerly awaited foal out of the mare Evocatyve, who is in foal to Elle Mustique. This foal is especially anticipated for Day Arabians, with a pedigree that includes many legendary mares, Elle Jaharra, Allamara MA, and RA Miss Siagon on the sire's side—and a female tail line tracing down through National Champion mare Drama Qyeen, Klassic, and Khemogina.

Getting to do this work is a gift I'm endlessly grateful for, and there's so much more ahead.
